Do your pots have drainage holes?

Yes. All of our terracotta pots have at least one drainage hole.

Are your Etrusca / gray terracotta pots also available in natural pink terracotta, and vice versa?

Our Etrusca grey terracotta pots are available in natural pink by special order. Our natural pink terracotta are also available in Etrusca grey by special order.

Do your pots come in other sizes?

Some of the pots we carry are available in other sizes by special order. Please contact us to find out if a pot you’re interested in is available in other sizes.

I don’t see what I’m looking for. Do you have other styles?

The items on the website are items that we regularly keep in stock. We can get you other styles or sizes by special order. Please contact us to inquire about other styles or sizes.

Do you do custom work?

Yes. Our workshops in Tuscany and Crete can create custom planters based on your designs or specifications. We can also suggest designs and styles to meet your needs. Please contact us to discuss your custom planter needs.

Out of stock items?

We take delivery of new stock throughout the year and are happy to reserve space on a future shipment for any items that you would like to purchase which may currently be out of stock.  Please contact us to discuss in more detail.

Ordering & Payment

How do I place my order?

Simply browse our range of beautiful terracotta pots, and click to add any products you are interested in to your shopping cart.  When you’re done shopping, you can submit your order to us compete with your contact details and delivery address.  Please note we don’t ask for payment online, instead we will get in touch with you within 24 hours (weekdays) to discuss your order, lead times and delivery options. We will then provide you with a personalized quote, complete with payment options.

Can I order by telephone or email?

Yes, you can call our office and place your order. The phone number is (941) 270-4810. Alternatively, you can email your order to us at Info@FoliageAndStone.com.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Check and Wire Transfer.

What is your return policy?

We are sorry, but because of the nature of the product, the difficulty of repacking and their limited availability we do not accept returns. All sales are final.

Packing & Shipping Information

How are your products delivered?

We offer in house delivery services throughout Florida and use trusted couriers for deliveries to all other locations.

How are your products packaged if delivered by courier?

Large and oversized pots are placed on cushioned pads, firmly secured to wooden pallets by strapping and then shrink wrapped for added protection and safety. Smaller items are carefully placed in boxes and cushioned for safe transport.

What happens if a pot I order arrives broken?

Although we package our products extremely carefully, accidents sometimes happen. All merchandise must be inspected immediately upon receipt and if any damage has occurred it should be reported to Foliage And Stone within 24 hours so that we can make arrangements to ship you a replacement.

Can I pick up my order?

Orders may be picked up at our warehouse in Venice, FL. If you would like to pick up, please contact us to place your order and make arrangements. Please bear in mind that the majority of our pots are large and heavy and so a suitable vehicle / trailer would be required.

Do you have a store?

We do not have a physical store front, however you are more than welcome to visit our warehouse in Venice, FL to view the products in person. Please contact us if you would like to arrange an appointment.

Design, Planting & Installation

Do you offer planting services outside of Florida?

At this time, we are only able to offer planting and installation services within Florida.

Do you charge for your design and planting services?

Yes, our design, consultation and full planting services adds between 20-25% to the cost of the pots.

Do you offer in person consultations?

Absolutely although depending upon the scope of your project we may be able to handle everything remotely with you via telephone and email communications.  Sometimes however, an in person consultation is preferable, and in such cases we will provide you a proposal to meet at your location.

Do you offer planting services for pots not purchased through Foliage And Stone?

Unfortunately, we only offer our planting and design services for clients purchasing pots through Foliage And Stone.

Are we able to just purchase plants through you?

We only offer plants as part of our design and installation services. If you are just looking for plants, then we recommend contacting a garden center or landscaping contractor near you.

Care of Pots

Are your pots frost proof?

Yes,  The clays used by our Tuscan and Cretan workshops have a unique chemical composition which when fired at extremely high temperatures, produce some of the strongest terracotta in the world, which can be left outdoors to -15°F.

Is it necessary to seal your pots?

Although it is not necessary to seal our pots, there maybe a unique occasion when you might need to.  Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

I notice white marks on the terracotta pots. Is that normal?

Yes. It’s a completely harmless and normal process that occurs on terracotta pots and planters. These marks may be present from the beginning or they may come to the surface after use.  It occurs when moisture travels through the terracotta, bringing the natural salts and minerals from within the clay, to the surface.  As the moisture evaporates, white deposits are left behind.
